Jumping at the Chance
The Brook trout is so colorful. It more than makes up for its small size in that alone.
It’s a study in color, action and inspiration, at least for the person who comes across one. I can go a long way on this kind of moment…the surface broken, the trout up and out of the water, and then the big splash. When opportunity knocks, finding ourselves in the right place at the right time can come as a total surprise.
As I reflected on the chance encounters I’ve had in my life, it set off a creative rush centered on a time when I found I had made a big splash out in the world. The truth is that the best we have in life comes from the chances we take when opportunity knocks. My inner drummer helps me make decisions. I believe that drummer comes from the Almighty, and when God calls, you jump at the chance!
